What Do You Think?

Chalk this up to bored at work.
So, here is one of my bikes:

Now, keep in mind that it no longer rocks risers, instead it has Nitto B123s with black champ grips.

Now, my question.
What do you think of putting this saddle on it, along with white champ grips?

Overkill? Sexy?
Let me know.

overkill. the contrast on it is what makes it nice. going overboard with one color would ruin that. white seat, maybe...but if i went all white with that thing, i'd put on a black stem, even go to black cranks, black deep v's instead of white and use white tires...meh. i think you'd have to change too much to preserve the contrast that makes the white on your bike interesting.

That was pretty much my thought process.
The black saddle and grips balances with the decals and tires.
I dunno.
Let's see what others have to say.

Keep the saddle and grips black, everything else silver/white. BTW why did you put on B123s? IMO it looks good with the risers.

I just like B123s a lot.
My other bike has them and I went risers on this originally just to make it different (internal justification for a second bike).
But after riding riders for a little bit, I realized I didn't really like them.
I found them too upright and passive of a stance.

i thought of that...i may yet go with white tires, but probably not--the thing is that here in portland, they'll get rinsed every now and then.

but yeah, you'd need to like...rinse 'em down now and then.

I think you should leave the black saddle on. But out of curiousity, do you find it more difficult to keep your white bike clean looking than others you may have/have had?

Well, it doesn't get dirtier than my other bikes it just shows the dirt and grime maybe 100x worse for obvious reasons.

Already have a nicer one on it.
I feel like everytime I send a "finished" bike into the Gallery I instantly change or upgrade it.

If you put the white saddle on, you MUST have white bartape as well. But both white saddles and bartape get grey way too fast, I hear. So... only if you have no problem with cleaning your saddle and cleaning/replacing tape every few weeks.

Well in that case I don't think there's much else you can do to improve it. Time to get started on another one

So evil.
It's actually pretty ridiculous.
So, I have those wheels on that bike and a set of Deep V/Pro Max on my other.
The rear wheel on that bike just got done a week ago after waiting 7 weeks for the silver Deep V.
A few weeks back I went to my LBS to get parts for a build I was doing for a friend. $300 budget, covered everything including set of cheap Suzue Jr. hubs.
For $40 more, I could get a set of Sun/black Formula hubs. I figured I'd spend the $40 and keep the wheelset for myself and give my friend my old Suzue Jr. set, which had nicer rims on it.
So, after finally getting the rear wheel finished I felt antsy after a few days and decided to take the formula hubs and build them to a set of black Aeros without really expecting to use them.
When I finished I threw them on my Pake and they looked too f'ing sick to take off. So, dilema.
I decided the Pro Max were too good not to use, so on to the above bike they go.
So, long story short, I have a backup set of Deep Vs, which I waited 7 weeks for, just sitting around waiting to be used on a new bike.
It's a f'ing vicious cycle, this bike thing.

I sure hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining.
