where can i get an inexpensive track cog online? my budget is under$20 and that would have to include s/h. any help is appreciated!

oh and im looking for a 17 tooth.

dolface 01-27-06 04:44 PM

you don't want one. seriously.
a cog is the last place you want to skimp; it's unsafe and false economy to boot, as you're more likely to trash your hub with a cheap cog.

try to scrounge up another $10 and get an eai, you'll be glad you did.

don't waste your money on a cheap cog. cheap cogs are made like crap in order to be cheap. It'll be more expensive to replace your stripped hub when your cheap cog mangles the threads.
You can get a EAI for around $30 from any number of places. businesscycles, for example. maybe even your lbs.

ah! thanks for the advice!!!

If you could get by with a 16, Ben's Cycle on eBay would get you a DuraAce in either 1/8 or 3/32 for $21.99 shipped..
