Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Appologies if this has been posted already. I've been away for two weeks and couldn't be bothered pouring through two weeks of posts.

D'oh.

See what happens when you only exist in reality for two weeks? Crap you'd otherwise have never heard of that has absolutely no effect on your life passes you by.

The article was especially poigniant for me seeing I'd just come back from a 55km walk over a mountain pass in New Zealand where you had to carry your rubbish arround with you for 4 days, yet some ****** thinks it's okay to throw rubbish out the window of his car like it's a birthright or something.
