Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? last night my girlfriend told me that she found a used dvd copy of quicksilver at the local used record/video store earlier in the week. apparently she debated about getting it for me for a while, but eventually decided not to. i guess it's the thought that counts, right?

I don't have a girlfriend anymore. But my wife let me spend $10k on a bike last. She also showed up to all my races, and even rode her own BMX with me for practice. Now she mostly rides a beach cruiser with flowers on it. Oh, she knows where to score the best free bud in all of NSW. Not that we do that anymore.

Dude, don't be knockin' her ride. That was more than the CRX 4. And don't remind me about the pot debacle. There was a mug on the hutch that had been there for months. It had a lighter and papers in it. I'm so glad they didn't see the other bag I gave away. Hey, shouldn't this be in a PM? Now people might think I used to smoke.

I dont ride a CRX4 and the only reason the cruiser is worth more than a CRX4 is because of the paint job.

That's what I'm saying. Look what I could have bought instead of the girly bike.

Back on topic, I might need some ear warmers for snowy days. Good stuff! Keep that girl.

I built a bike up for a girl I was interested in once. She never rode it until she started dating a guy who suddenly decided he wanted to be a bike courier. She decided she wanted to be one too all of a sudden and they both called me to find out how to get "into the business".

I considered stealing the bike back. Twice.

I built a sweet MTB for an a girl once. Gave it to her for Christmas, she dumped me right after new year's. On the bright side, I pissed off to New Zealand and Australia to forget about her, and met my wife. Everything happens for a reason. But I still want the MTB back.
