Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Dolface, my small ladypal, and I have a dinner date next saturday night, and y'all are invited too!

We're going to Golden Era for delicious mock meat Chinese food. Golden Era is located in the heart of the Tenderloin, on O'Farrel btw Leavenworth and Jones. 7pm-ish, perhaps?

Posse up!

My post chow plan involves a trip to 21 Grand in Oakland to see BF lurker benadrian's band, REPLICATOR. Good times, good times.

Jerks! I'll be in san jose, working for The Man.

mcatano - if you or your ladyfriend need a loaner bike, benadrian's got keys to my place.

Thanks! That would be awesome... she's very small, so hopefully one of your ugly-ass sloping top tube things will work for her. Also, you are a punk for being in San Jose.

Forty-eight hours and I will be eating at cancun. My god.

The red singlespeed would probably fit her. If not, there's always

Who am I kidding? You're gonna grab that one.

CA meet-n-greet would be great. Damn, the weather is sso great out right now. I rode a bunch today, did twin-peaks, and some fast city riding. Man, it's like summer right now in the city...

It's got a 2.0" big apple up front now, too.

Grin factor is off the charts at this point.

Seriously, though, grab what you need to. I'll try to remember to leave the lock and cable out, too.
