I need the front brake, but to my eye there is no setup that really looks right. Which is the lessor evil?

Any 'ol cross lever works as a suitable e-brake, and the proximity to the stem shortens the cable. Tektro's the one I use.

and if you angle it just right, you can't see the lever from the side. maybe you could find some colored cable housing to match your paint job.

when I had track bars I used an Oddysey bmx lever I found for 5 bucks. Didn't need any tape, and very discreet.

you like a the BMX lever, Yess? In my country, we use sheep bone for brake lever. Then when we finish, we eat the bone. You like to eat-a the bone too? Yess?

anyone know where to find a cheap crosstop/inline lever for 26mm bars? $30 for a set of cane creek is a little steep.
