Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I stuck around for the awards ceremony, but I vaguely remember some of the awesome prizes though. A nice track wheeset made by who knows. A few mess bags, cogs, and some of the hottest chicks I've ever seen on fixies......

it's only 8:30 and the longer i was at the bar the more people showed up.

I thought I had left my cam at home when I got to one on one to register, but was digging today and found it at the bottom of my bag, shucks.

When I got to the finish, I thought I lost mine as well. Turns out it was in my pocket. Hmm... maybe a sign that I was too drunk to be taking pictures.

I know where my camera is. But I think you're more likely to be able to post the pics off of it, since my computer doesn't like my flash reader any more than your mac did.

Gotta get me one of them mini USB cables...

When I walked into Grumpy's and got carded, I couldn't find my wallet for the life of me.
I spent the next 30 mins frantically searching the nearby area for it only to find it in some crazy hidden pocket in my bag.
Stupid brand new BaileyWorks, I'm still learning all its treasures.

That would be about four different kinds of rum + a splash of fruit punch. Mmm, alcoholic.

I've got one of those mini USB's, I've only used it once in the whole year that I've had it. You can borrow it sometime.

Why are we still talking about photos when we could be looking at them? I mean, Marko threw down.

If you do a search for "reader" in the title search, you can usually find the USB 10-1 type card readers for free after rebate. They're great if you have multilple types of cards.
www.fatwallet.com

I don't think there's a deal at the moment, but they seem to come up pretty frequently.

I swear by the gray Sandisk readers you can get at electronics warehouse stores for about $20. Every bargain card reader I've ever tried has had compatability issues or didn't want to plug-'n-pray a lot of the time.

Anyways, I'll add my vote for wanting to see more pictures!

The helmet cam worked great - here is a preview of the video. I have an 11-minute edit done, I just need to encode it and upload somewhere. So look for another post this week. Many thanks to everyone I rode with and everyone that said hi!

Fraction: I can definately help out with video hosting. Drop me an email or PM on BF and I can get you setup on my bittorrent tracker when your video is ready - greg @ metanovus.com

Awesome! It was fun to ride with you and fun to see myself in some of these pics... I'd probably be in more except that I was behind you most of the time. I've got a massive server set-up as well and could host these if you'd like. Let me know!
