I always turn to you guys for advice

So I get out of the navy this year and I'll be moving to a small college town (cheney, WA) for my degree.

My question is this (and yes Mods I know its not fixie or cycling related, but common here this is my education we're talking about, so humor me) Where do I get my SAT scores from if I took them four years ago? Itried finding them online at the SAT site and didn't get jack, and its starting to get a little frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on where I might be able to track it down?

Oh ad there aren't any fixie riders in eastern WA are there? I have a feeling I am going to be so lonely out there when it comes to riding

I say highschool to. It also may not matter as much as you are four years away with time in the military. Colleges seem to like this, you guys have learned some discipline and while you may not have 1600 on the sat you know how to settle down and get a job done(Then party )

your SAT score from 4 years ago?
then that's the old test score which is out of 1600

SAT has changed from 1600 with two parts ( english 800 & math 800) to
2400 ( english 800 & math 800 & essay 800)

i think you'll need to retake it, not sure.

but did you apply for the SAT test ONLINE 4 years ago?
if you did, then you should be able to log into your account and check the score and also send it off from there.

I'd just call them (college board, the conspiracy that runs the sat and all that) (212) 713-8000 is the main number.

And, uh, maybe you should just transfer to a school in the sf bay area, hang out with that dude in your avatar photo and ride with the other 100,000 fixed riders around here.

Try calling or mailing the SAT guys to get an updated copy of your score. Rev. Chuck's right though, veterans get some extra points when they apply to college.

Woo-Hoo, Go Eagles! I assum eyou're going to EWU? Not really
relevant to your SAT problems, but I grew up in Spokane. Yeah,
I think you'll probably be the only fixie/track rider out there.

I'd check with your college to see if they'll need the new SAT or if your old SAT will still count. My brother is a Sr in High school right now and thought he could cheat the system and take the old SAT while it was still offered and send those scores away but many schools ended up requireing the new SAT scores

Dudes. A four year old SAT score has not been rendered moot by the recent changes. It's not like there are institutions out there that have forgotten about the "old" SAT. They know the difference between a score from 2000 and a score from 2005.

Also: https://www.collegeboard.com/student/...nding/old.html

This took exactly two seconds to find. Get one Google, dogg.

thanks for all the info. I would move to SF, believe me its crossed my mind quite a few times, but alas, being this far away from my girlfriend for this long I just couldn't do it for another 4. So I'll be throwing down alleycats all the time and racing myself. Dope

I love the state of Washington, and Oregon.
If the lady and I ever drop out of the rat race,
we're moving somewhere Northwest.

Just be ready to really pound the pavement... jobs they are hard to come by now. Even contract tech stuff. Oh well, I love it here enough not to leave but the job market leaves a lot to be desired...

the job market isn't that great, to be sure, but it's not all that bad, either. i've been in worse.

that said, portland is fantastic. if you go northwest...that's what i'd suggest. i love this town.

**** that ... if it was four years ago make that **** up. how are they gonna find your scores if you can't? pick something good enough to impress them, but not extraordinary - like a 1340.

i'm sure they'd find it...i mean, even if he can't, i'm sure they do this **** all the time and know just where to look and who to talk to.

i don't really understand what's going on with rancid's SAT scores, though.
