I don't have it yet...I was just asking if it would fit. My Suntour Superbe Headset is nice but it's not shiny:/...so I want to change it.

and I think it came in an older box design...but it is a Special Gipiemme headset

i think from one of your first posts.. i thought "this girl is going to get the fever.. her wallet is in trouble.." looking at your new bike and purchase of shiny headsets.. id say i was right.. its nice to see..

heres a shot of mine looking shiny..

she hasn't made the big purchase yet... Brand spanking new wheels will follow, then her wallet will really be in trouble.

i've got a collection going of those sidewalk scribbles from EP, thats why i was askin! wondering if i had that one already.

to move back to the original post, why is it that we don't really include gipiemme in the great scheme of things? they made some good stuff...

oh i should take pics for you.. my favorites are the three times someone has tagged "Echo Park" in about 4 ft letters on the street in front of my house, which is extra weird 'cause i live up the hills a bit..and one time they did it in that flourescent orange workmans paint.. heavy serifs on the "E" and "P" and the rest some shoddy tag.. a classic...

yeah! i appreciate the obscenely large letters as well. the variations among the sidewalk are of more interest to me, usually, since someone writing on the sidewalk usually has more time to list a long long long list of silly names. my best friend lives on benton at sunset, another friend lives down the road at michelatorena (spelling? i forget) and another lives the opposite direction by alvarado. those are mainly the intersections that provide my collection with pictures. any more would simply be icing on the cake!!!

do you have this one.. from normal ave.

"normal street crazies by spyder and lazy"

you should send a friend over for that..

my favorite e.p. tag ever was on this nice new yuppie wood fence.. and it said

"poo is wild.." and about 30 more ft down the fence it said "so wild"

itll take a genius to top that

yeah..I've got new wheels and I doubt I'll be spending too much (hopefully not)...I'm sort of just bored now and looking for something to do mostly...plus like I said...the rest of the bike is shiny but the headset isn't...not that it's scratched...but it has a frosted finish.
