Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Hahaha, almost my new conversion..

If I wasn't out of space, I'd so jump on this just for shock value alone!

(this post is about whimsy- not telling people about some aw3s0m3xxor ebay deal on Latvian track underpants. Please leave it where it is)

If either of you ever get those bikes, or bikes like them, I'll pay you good money to lace the front radially and replace all spokes with aero spokes. Just cause it would be amazing.

if you threw deep v's into the mix, there would be like 3 cm's between flange and nipple. totally short spokes.

i forgot to mention in my post that that beautiful little gold number is referred to as a "road puppy". best name ever! maybe i should start a gang, all on bikes like that and call it the road puppies. get rockers made... for some reason, as i imagine it now, all the members are wearing cutoff jean jackets and mirror aviators. imagineing is fun...

Someone should messenger on the first one. The basket would be totally useful. Just never stand up on the pedals, cuz the bars will flop all over the place.
