dented top tube -- dangerous?

I have a dent in my top tube. No idea how it got there. I have been riding around on it for a month or so(?) and it hasn't gotten any worse.

Should I be worried about this on a my bike is about to break level? I don't mind that it looks dinged up, so that isn't the issue. I just don't want to know if I will break my frame if I hit a pothole.
Is this something KHS would cover under warranty?
Should I bring it to my lbs back home, over break, and see what they say?

Probably some other bike fall off or something over your bike and thats it.
Nothing it will happen... dont worry... what u can do if u dont have access to a a brazzing machine and stuff... is use bondo to fill it up... sand it and paint an stripe or something if u cant find the right color...

I'm no expert, and I'm sure that the others here will have something much more insightful than I, however, I've been riding a dented frame (i'm cheap) for two years.
It's been through 10 speeds, 1 speed, and now fixed, and survived like a dented champ.

someone probably whacked it while it was locked up.
that said, you're perfectly fine riding it around like that. it won't break. THe TT actually isn't that stressed.
It's definetly not something that would be covered under warranty.

Ha, thanks for the quick response. I wasn't too worried. It was just one of those things where you go, wait... maybe I should get someone else's opinion before I kill myself? And also I am working on a project due in 10 hours that I don't want to do.
As for looks. I don't really care... hah, I could always get a r.e. load top tube protector to cover it up if it gets annoying.

if a dented top tube ruins a frame, a buncha folks who've forked out some serious dough on keirin frames are gonna be bummed

If it's steel, then no worries. I have a way worse dent in a frame that I've still been riding off and on for the last year... AL might be another story.
It actually looks like it's in the right spot for a handlebar ding - you should wrap it up in tape or get one of those NJS style to keep from getting another ding...

i ride aluminum and have had a dent on the side of my tt for as long as i've had it, about a year, it's my commute and i've measured a few times to make sure and it's never gotten worse, so i'm not worried, i was but now i'm not
