Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i can totally do that. njs pie. the njs will be imitation, but the pie will be 100% organic home made goodness.

on other issues of banality, i had soup for lunch. and i need to borrow someone's hacksaw.

for the purple menace's bars.

now, i'd love to use this thread to express my most unexciting and un-pressing issues, but see, i have a blog for that. it leads me to think that this thread is unnecessary. but, since i've been ordered to post here, i shall continue.

i am now drinking Diet Pepsi. Personally, i find it inferior to the better tasting and far more addictive Diet Coke. I should also mention that, in India, diet sodas cost twice as much as regular sodas, due to the expense and difficulty of getting the fake sugar products.

they're still cheaper than monsanto's pesticides though and indian farmers use them to just that end.

today at work i drank a whole lot of green tea. i think i'm drinking more of it in hopes of finishing it so that i can justify opening the tea i brought back from India. (The green tea i'm drinking now is the last of what I brought back from china last year.)

a pipe cutter is way better than a hacksaw for cutting bars. faster, easier, and cleaner.

i am thankful that the people at the green mountain coffee roasters company have figured out that we like our coffee strong, and thus they have begun creating the new "extra bold" k-cups for my work coffee machine. thank you, green mountaineers. i am now awake.

wow, i write about beverages alot, don't i?

and in other news, the wisconsin badgers lost to northwestern yesterday. i only know this because who could say no to the $7 pitchers and tasty nachos of alumni night?

i'll be with you in spirit.

next weekend we must do everything in excess, i'm forgetting my life for 3 days. i can then post about it here, in the chimbly specific thread. how chimbly successfully reunited me with my previous corrupt life. that makes no sense.

i disagree with you, pepsi is superior to coke. i sigh at your coffee comment ... the coffee options at the hospital i'm at suck. big time. however we do have little packages of cookies and crackers. and ginger ale. i think ginger ale surpasses all other sodas. except perhaps cream soda.
