Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

cadillac makes bikes? WHAT?!

yeah dude. peep it. http://www.cadillacbikestore.com/

oh man....imagine if they made a real track machine?! sure it would be pretty damned expensive but it would be worth the looks of wtf when owning a bike that has the FREAKING CADILLAC LOGO on the side of it. i wonder if you have to be over 65 to ride one.

Im sure the correct statment is:

"Cadillac licenses its brand to an unknown third party that may or may not manufacture the bikes it sells under that license."

The bikes are made by Kent.

http://www.kentbicycles.com

These bikes look exceptionally cheaply made, and the copy is inane ("all bikes feature Shimano gears"). I'm surprised that GM would license the name to such a crappy operation.

I'm pretty sure that there was a bicycle manufacturer in the 50s that was called Cadillac, and was unaffiliated with the car company.

I've saw a GMC bicycle a few months ago. One of those full suspension doo-dads. Looked like a piece of crap.

for $800 shipped, it's not a bad deal, and if you had a buddy who could look over it and make sure it was put together right, you'd have a great bike for a new roadie.

Though I'm a little skeptical of the 18lb weight claim.

Porsche/Grundig Weather Radio. Sold two of 'em during my tenure at Radioshack, made sure to mention the designer both times
