Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

//edit.
Thought you posted the OP, but looks like it was removed.

I saw it last night and almost posted in the CL/eBay thread.

Me too, funny sh*t. Didn't someone post the other day about a
run-in with a velocity messenger? What a way to get back at him.
I bet there was a line of people down the block at Velocity this morning
looking to buy stuff.

Hi, I don't know what all of this is about. I went to 703 Wells and it wasn't a hoax. I was able to get a bike stand, three bike tubes, a kickstand, and a handjob from the dispatcher. Everything was pretty cheap. I guess it's up to you to find out if it's fake or not.

A few weeks ago someone on cl posted that trackstar was having a huge 80% off everything in the store. sounded like a hoax to me. I don't picture them selling $50 nitto bars for $10.

This seems like a great way to cause trouble for someone- based on the most recent post it sounds like a disgruntled employee...

http://chicago.craigslist.org/bik/137790554.html

"Pissed off? Rich boys who exploit others for fun and profit have no right to be pissed off.

Denying workman's compensation claims, and breaking just about every other labor and tax law over the years while making millions off those who risk their lives every day just to barely break even while doing so gives Kyle and Carlito the right to be pissed ON.

No, REALLY. PISSED ON.

Come in, control. Can you hear me?

Gotta love the interwebs...
