I had not seen these before:

Soma "Bonzo" bars. 200mm of drop (30mm more than steel B123s), 120mm of reach (12mm more than steel B123s). In widths from 38-48cm. That all seems very impractical to me.

The curve is sexy, but they're just too bulky overall.

since hipsters just ride on the tops it makes sense.
reach curve and drop are just for looks.

Love the name. I couldn't use them, but I bet there's some guys built like Orangutans out there that have been waiting for someone to make bars like those.

it seems pretty practical if you think of a guy who's 6'4", 180-200 lbs. and riding a 61cm frame.

I'm pretty sure 3T measures their bars from outside to outside (not c-c like Nitto, eg). Therefore, their measurements make the bars sound like they're bigger but they're not.

The trick is to have oury grips up on the tops, so you can leave the rest of the bars untaped and still use a $40 top tube protector.

These look soooooo uncomfortable to me. I love my B123s but won't be able to ride the drops too comfortably until I get a smaller frame. Bullhorns are where it's at for me.

I had discovered these a few days ago. I don't care what you people say, I'm buying them... I have B123 (38cm) and I've always thought they were ugly. (but who can afford steel cinellis?) Plus I would like the huge reach and drop, I think. plus the somas are only $30.

they are ugly. a kid here has them. the bend (front) extends too far forward. the drop (down) looks fine. i base this all aethetically cause i've never ridden them. just sayin' is all.
