new crank/ bottom bracket, harder than i think?
okay soooo here's the deal: i have a mercier kilo tt, boring generic crank/bb, and i'm feeling special, so i want to buy a Sugino XD crankset, and a new bottom bracket while i'm at it
bensbike on ebay says "Use with a 107mm square taper bottombracket - available separately for $19.99"
do i need to worry about my rear hub and cog now? how can i check to see if this would make for a remotely straight chainline

the 107 bb is probably assuming a 42mm rear chainline. find out what your rear chainline is (https://www.sheldonbrown.com/chainline.html) and adjust accordingly.
