This for all the ballers who bought those 3M Dunks. If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. This sweater is HOTT. Great historic Tour feel, will go great with your Pista. Very small logo for all you anti-logo monkeys.

remember it is this one you need to look at.
The sweater is merino, not cashmere and it still was 425. But 425 is pretty good for a high end Ralphy Lauren sweater.

Good find. I'll have my personal shopper pick up a weeks supply.

The price looks a lot more reasonable (which is still "not very") when compared to the prices vintagevelos charges for reproduction Merckx Molteni jerseys and the like.
As established in an earlier thread, merino is merino, which is plenty wicking on its own...go pick up an argyle turtleneck at Marshalls for $20.

for that price at least get a wool jersey from a bike company (or four at ibex's prices).

Dude, that's not an ad, that's lifestyle branding. You are a hip but discerning consumer who probably has an iPod. See how well that sort of sophisticated understated gadget goes with our stuff, which is also sophisticated and understated.

the swedes know what they're doing. i wear their mid-layer sweater. it's a terry-knitted merino material that traps a lot of air inbetween your layers. polo neck, full length zipper, and holes in the cuffs for your thumbs to stick out so the sleeves don't ride up. it's also a bit longer in the back to cover your butt. damn warm, and it's got me through a lot of toronto winters.
wow.. the canadian site has em for 50% off (about 70 canuck bucks).. they were over $100 in tokyo 4 years ago.

I can not wait to rock trackstands and sweet backwards circles, while wearing my reflective 3M Dunks, Polo sweater, and listening to The Killers on my new I Pod video. Hopefully I will be able to get that new Desperate Housewives on that ish.

That Swedish sweater sounds very similiar to one i bought through The Sportsmans guide for less than 30 bucks.(Also check cheaper than dirt).I bought merino wool underwear from Rivendell for $100. top and bottom with no logo . I think they are still around the same price, probably only slightly higher now than when i bought them.I know surplus may not be chic but the price is right.Or check out Rivendell

At least that thing is an entire sweater for $2-something. I found a Burberry cashmere scarf while working yesterday:

I wonder if I could sell it on craigslist..

Historic? I don't remember that. Santini makes some stuff that looks
authentic.
This looks old school except for the zip chest pocket

I really like this one, and it does look the part...

This wouldn't get a 2nd look if you stepped out of a time machine

This is a Seventies look

Back then very few wore cycling clothes, at least I never saw any
outside of pictures.
authentic.
