First fixed endeavor
I have decided to turn my mtb into a fixed. What is the bare minimum for conversion? First time coverting.

You're probably going to need a new rear hub. This site has a lot of good information on conversions.

if you have a freehub, you can't even make a suicide hub out of it, but Surly makes a thing that bolts on in place of the freehub body to give you a proper track threaded hub. It costs about as much as a new hub though.
