i think most people from the forums were in the race. the ones that weren't mostly hit up the start and the finish. there were a ton of people filming along the way, but that of course takes a bit longer to edit and post than pics.

Ditto. If I wanted to look at bikes, I'd go to FGG. Where's the HUMANITY?

Why isn't alfred on Puma anymore? anyone have the gossip.

yeah, that guy is hella ****ing cool. He was also well known with the local messenger community so it would make sense that he lives a couple hours away.

i followed this guy to checkpoint 2, and the route was windy as hell.
so at some point he got behind me so he could draft for a while and i
was trying to explain that i had no freakin idea which way to go. much
confusion insued, but we got there. thanks dude.

and i followed this guy to the battery park checkpoint. we were blazing
down one of the avenues and there was this squad car like right behind
us blaring his siren - the kind that sounds like a lazer. for a second we
thought he was chasing us.. and you know what, maybe he was. again,
thanks for the assist.

awesome photos via amybolger link.

Heya, I took alot of photos over the weekend, and I'm still uploading them to a Flickr stream.

I'll post the link soon.

sorry I haven't gotten right on this, but I enjoyed the rest of my weekend in the city with some delicious delicious vegan food, then worked today.

tonight is my friend's goodbye get together because he's going on tour, so I'll probably upload more tomorow, or just do it tonight if I can't sleep.
