Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

How about a Jungle Boonie in bone white? Foldable, rollable, washable, and it floats. Comes with drawstring so it'll stay on your head

How Ironic, I throw away my hat on saturday and today I felt neked leaving my house. I really should be wearing a helmet though.

I can't wear caps like that though, because I wind up looking too much like my father, and it creaps me out. I need a good hat 'cause I'm bald as a cue ball, but I can't do the "I wear baseball caps every day & everywhere because I don't want anybody to know I'm bald" look and I can't find a small lightweight cap I feel looks good, and is easy to pocket. I have a black & yellow Walz 4 panel cycling cap, but somehow that one doesn't quite work for me for everyday wear. I certainly can't see myself wearing a bowler or a fedora every day...

Since this thread has now been officially hijacked, anyone got any ideas for a nice light weight summer cap?
LOL Hijacked indeed, but heading in a good (and funny direction). Headcoatees, yes! Nice, stylish, but lightwieght and foldable bike hats are hard to find. Saw some cool ones up at Freewheel I might check out.
