Chain Demands Freedom
My chain has come off three times in the past month, usually after I oil it, and there is snow on the ground. What are the factors that can contribute to this? I'm wondering if I'm not pulling the wheel hard enough for good tension, not cranking the nuts holding the wheel to the frame tightly enough, or could there be environmental factors at play?

The nuts may not be tight enough. If you don't wrap a rag around your wrench when you tighten the bolts, it should bruise your hand from the force you put on it.
