Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I am visiting my brother in LA for a few days. I would like to find a cheap used road or track bike for the brother (6'2", probably needs a 58-59cm top tube.) I also need to find a decent tattoo shop that would have a few hours open on monday or tuesday. Any good used bike shops in town? Recomendations for either would be appreciated.

As for finding your brother a bike on the cheap, do you have time to build it, if so.

Dear Southern California : What's up with Bill Ron being 'by appointment only' this month and closed next month?

Please advise.

Bill is a one man shop. Always best to call ahead. He's also has been (not sure if he currently is) head wrenches for the US team. He travels to many local races as a result.

i'm sorry kyle. i should have called. I'm such a bad friend. It was accidental really. we were hanging out at kitchen and James kept asking me to show him LA and somehow we all just ended up at Jumbo's. You missed out on the tranny. He/She kept grabbing his/her crotch and making funny noises. It was a little awkward.
