soaking a regular shirt in sweat sucks, which is why I like lycra (especially in the summer). Also, bike shorts save balls

Dude, this is missing a critical option: "Yes, I have lycra that LOOKS like denim!"

Over the years I've slowly moved from none to lycra under shorts to actually going out on rides (aside from the track) in full lycra. Lycra or form-fitting but stretchy clothing makes riding so much better.

another option I considered for the emo kids was "No, but I rock my denim as tight as lycra"

More Lycra that Denim but only because they quit making the good wool shorts. I would think that after a couple of miles, denim would be very uncomfortable.... but what do I know... haven't worn denim riding a bike since I was about 12.

I own 2 pair of Buffalo jeans that are kind of stretchy. I wear them often on rides. Does that count?

I needed to think about this a bit harder. I clearly should have answered that I have more lycra than denim. I only have two pairs of jeans,

-but have several pairs of shorts, at least five jerseys and some tights. I clearly have more lycra.
