Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

So what stereo equipment did you finally stop on? I'm happy with my Spendor 1/2's, VPI Scout, Jolida tube amp. though I'm thinking a nice Naim solid state would give me that extra tightness on the bottom. You know, it's just hard to listen to Nine Inch Nails with a fluffy low end.

And I'll do it again, too!

Anyone who thinks the SS/FG doesn't have a serious case of OCM is floating down a river in Egypt.

But OCM is like the "bed head" hairstyle where some guy pays a lot of money to have his hair look like it does when he first drags his sorry self out of bed. Or the jeans people used to buy with the knees already worn out. Even today, people buy the prestained hippie jeans so they look like they never get washed.

That fixie may have $1k worth of hubs and cogs but sssshh, keep it a secret. Must not let anyone know; it'll blow my street cred.

Your fuji track bike isn't real. You've been riding an illusion.

I build bikes like I am built...old and cheep.
I slobber over bikes in Velo-space that are like
a date with a super model.. expensive, exotic and hot.
To be ponderously redundant....Its all good.
