Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Arghhhhhh

Ok, this is when you know when the fixed gear thing has jumped the shark. My mother knows I bought my pista last year and i explained to her what it was--track frame for the street--direct drive, etc. etc.

Yesterday my 60 yr old mom calls and i say i cant talk, i am going out for a ride. She asks: "Oh, on your fixie?"

Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I said, "where did you here that and please don't ever call serentity [edit: serenity] a 'fixie' again."

Welll, you know, this could have been avoided if you stalled your ride 10 minutes to talk to your mother.

You're looking for hear not here, the first sentence is nonsensical, and the title is useless.

I'm really hoping you're drunk.

I'm no english teacher. I just like pointing out other's shortcomings.

I hope to hell you're all chinese exchange students or our public school system has completely gone off the rails in spelling and grammer. And DO NOT DISRESPECT YOUR OWN MOTHER IN A PUBLIC FORUM. EVER. It reflects badly on your entire family.

I don't knoww about you guys, but that's my new term for being drunk right there.

Also, every time you spell "grammar" wrong in the course of *****ing about others', god kills a kitten. If you're just trolling, he kills a beagle puppy too.
