I love it so much...

...when yer haulin' a** down the street, tire pressure at around 130 psi, and ya run through a mass of pebbles sending 'em shooting like little bullets into all the shiney cars waiting at the light. The rock-against-steel staccato kills me everytime...
One of biking's little pleasures.

Sometimes I get tempted to go back and see if I scratched anyones paint. I always hope that I did.

A car sat right beside me in the bike lane the other day and a pretty good sized rock shot out from my tire right into their door panel. I quickly turned, it sounded loud enough to actually chip something though.

weird..i feel bad when that happens. i was riding with my ex one time and i almost blasted her in the face with a pebble that shot out from my tire..i'm glad it didn't hit her but we both had a good laugh.

Why would you run 130 psi on the street? Do you live somewhere with exceptionally smooth and well-maintained roads?

Wow, guys, way to feel good about damaging some random person's car. That's cool.

That scares the hell out of me. I'm always paranoid that there's a bit of glass in there that is just going to ruin my day...

Though there are many, not every car-owner is a cyclist-murdering ******* who has the ability to commute to work.

I wonder if there's a car forum where someone starts a thread titled "i love it so much...", followed by "when I come up on somebody riding a bike, and there's a puddle, and I lay on the horn and hit the puddle and they fall off."
