Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Looks like a great time.

I wanted to attend, but had previous plans for an afternoon BBQ.
Plus I was already drunk and tired when I rode by the Telassphere Gazebo at the race start.

..and Funworks has got to be the best building to hold a trick comp in front of.

and more here... (but far more amateurish)

the whole thing was kick-ass... from the 'pump required' hissyfits (it was a fake out, they werent necessary) to carrying raw eggs across the city to blowing up balloons while doing situps to the final CP where you got the ***** waterbombed out of you while retrieving your envelope with the finish location.

and yeah... the tricks comp was full of some rad stuff. that superman was hysterical...
