cool french messenger movie
just saw this yesterday - f'in awesome and hilarious.
dude starts his day with goldsprints at the office, racing three of his buddies, heads out to make deliveries, skitches on a truck, runs intersections causing near-crashes, drops a group of roadies who get pissed at him, heads to a bar and gets drunk, dances crazily and does cool mess bag tricks, comes out of the bar and eats **** as soon as he gets on his bike, then loses his bike but finds it again.
Jaques Tati, L'Ecole des Facteurs, 1947
edit: he's really a postman, not a messenger, but still…

Pure genius...
I'm a Jacques Tati fanatic...
Check out "Mon Oncle"...probably his best ever.

you can see some of it (i think) here
https://www.tativille.com/
click on welcome
click Jour de Fete which is at the bottom of the building on the left
click on the bike in the upper right hand corner
click the right arrow twice
press play to see a skitching scene
heres the imdb page. some guy says "Jacques Tati is very funny in this short film. Most of the scenes are used again in «Jour de fête» (1948), a full feature film."

again, what is mon ocle? at certain levels of obscurity or with certain subject matter it'll either be really easy or really hard to track this down in portland at a library or indie video shop...
