Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

So I Run A Bike Shop Now....

Well today I got home to the condo I live in with my mom. I have been using a little personal storage room on the 1st floor for awhile to work on and store my bikes. A couple times I've accidently gotten grease on the rug but it's a dark rug so I figured whatever.

Now today they sent some people out to clean the rug and re-paint the downstairs walls. I get a letter when I get home that says they walked into to my "unlocked" storage room, obvious bull****, they definitly forced their way in seeing as the door is kinda screwed anyway. So theres a ****load of frames and parts inside. Since they can't tell whose room it is they sent a letter to everyone in our building saying that someone is "running a bicycle repair shop" in the basement and to cease operations. Hahahaha.

All my neighbors know its me but for the most part they are cool. If only the management knew that those crappy little kids mutant bikes and the other bikes are all mine........

they probably didn't like the fact that I had spray painted "Bike Cave" on the inside wall either......

Anyone else ever have this happen?
