Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Derailer Hanger Track End

Ladies, Gents, and BF Members:

I am looking for a track end with a derailer hanger. Ill be going to my local frame fabricator soon to replace my old (read screwed up) ends. I'll be keeping with the whole SS/Fixed theme so they will need to be horizontal, track ends desired. I saw a bike at Trackstar with them and was wondering if any you all knew where one could get a pair, and if not who makes them.

Thanks.

why do you want a derailleur hanger if you are keeping it single speed?

Track ends with derailleur hangers are the worst of both worlds. I curse the gods every time I have to pull the back wheel out of my geared karate monkey.

What's wrong with some nice campy 1010s?

Surly is a good source, should you be thick-headed and not just put on horizontal dropouts:
