Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

AHHH, stupid bend

I just recieved my Syntace bullhorns from Chucks, but the extreme bends wont fit through my stem. So, what are some threaded stems that are front loading? Or should I buy a threadless adapter and use a threadless stem?

you sure you're using a 26.0 stem? the only time i couldn't get a stem around my 26.0 horns was when i was unwittingly using a 25.4 stem. just so you know.

but yeah, just hold a screwdriver in there and twist, it might take a friend to help though. one to twist and one to put the horns through.

btw, i bought the syntac from chuck's too. been waitin' for a new frame to try them out.
