"VD". That's pretty funny.
Was there ever a consensus reached about which route was best from cp's 1 & 2? Is tacking down the hill after 170 still the preferred route? Running down the stairs? Thoughts please.

City Island is the timetrial. Last two checkpoint before the finish.

Mid-day run today if anyone is interested?

Just like last year's rumble! Hopefully there will be water at the finish line this time!

Oh yeah, and everyone should carry lots of water with them. For real.

The time trial's gonna work like this:

You get to the top of city island & give someone your number. They punch it into a computer. You go to the end of city island & get your manifest signed. Then you race back to the checkpoint person at the top of city island. That is the time trial.

i've been feelin pretty crappy all week so today i'm dorkin out and goin into "pre-race" mode. i just made a big plate of spaghetti fresh from caputo's with basil from my window box and some breaded eggplant and olives with tons of nutritional yeast, along side a nice helping of greens with apple vinegar, balsamic vinegar, braggs, and flax seeds. and i'm drinkin gatorade all day. all this just to survive.

of course this is after drinking many strong, free drinks at MoMA last night.
