Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fun things to do when you're bored

I suppose fun is a little optomistic, but has anyone ever tried following your commute/weekend ride using the google satallite images? Kinda fun to see what you don't notice from the ground. Also, looking at manhattan up close makes for some really strange perspective effects.

I once got bored and mapped my commute in google earth, and then did the little 3d flythrough. it was fun.
