Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

No Nos Sprint Race PICTURES

I don't have any, sorry.
But ,for all of you who were there with cameras, or have friends who were there with cameras, please post them. And post them here.
Thanks.

I'd like to add that it was an amazing, I wish I could have stayed later, but I had to get back to Milwaukee. I met a lot of nice BFers, which is always great.
And [165] is as impressive in real life as he is on here
That is all.
I am off to bed.
PICTURES!

As soon as I get a chance to upload em' I'll do it - in the middle of finals. Yes, it was a great day... who were you? I'm sure we talked, but I was too ashamed to ask "are you on Bike forums" when I met someone.

When I met Salome and Absntr and Chicagoamdream, they pointed you out to me.
I was the kid on the white bianchi, with the beard and black hat.

managed to edit down 450 to 88 - I should be working on finals but I'm still too excited about yesterday! That was an incredible time and it went off without a hitch! Thanks again to ben for doing such a great job putting it on.
Feel free to use these low-res images for personal online uses. However I have to say this, I hope I don't come off bad: If you choose to use any of these images in a blog, website, or your myspace; please use credits (David McLean). In the past I've seen my and my coleagues images pop up on the internet without credits. I know they are just photos and it is just the internet, but this is how I try to make a living, so help a brotha out and get my name out there if you use them! Hope you all understand! I'm kind of glad I lost in the first heat because I had just as much fun shooting!

I'll have some photos up in the next day or two -- my computer died when I moved last weekend and a new Mac is on the way -- gotta do some RAW post-processing.

Good times all round and much thanks to Ben for organizing a great time.

Nice to meet a few fellow BF'ers from out of town who I hadn't met before.

Dave - great shots!
Naz - that sucks. Shoulda PM'd me!

It was nice to meet a lot of you, but Shant's spokecard made it very easy to identify hyper! And to all the haters that boo'ed when teabag and I "raced" - we knew you were just jealous. Try to relax, have some fun. It gave you a bit of time to rest and see what biking is really all about: two idiots riding very slowly while holding hands and then playing "rock-paper-scissors" to see who would take the heat.

I totally missed it! I know cat did too. I bet you can count on ben's little brother brandon to have gotten it. That kid took something like 900 pics.

there was some dude hanging out by Evan with a black cycling cap emblazoned with what appeared to be a green skull. He got a few.

PS- Dave, sorry about skipping your festivities. I was really frickin tired. Next weekend we should hit bars or something.
