Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

the exotic

I'm always interested in looking rare and unusual parts for bikes. Best I've got is a Sunshine NJS hub from the 70s/80s and my cinelli bar/stem combo (though I'd kill for one of the ones with the big crest on the stem). I just lost an auction for a crazy red Brampton front red track hub on ebay. *sigh*

Whatcha got that's not so run of the mill? Pics are a bonus.

(yea its a slow day at work)

I have an increasing desire to improve my skills using my track bike on the velo. No pics needed.

I've got a pretty cool bar/stem combo and the seatpost isn't too bad either. Pics have already been done here.

I'm totally in love with my Sailrite. How the @#)(@# did I live without one before? it got here Friday (I left work early to be home for the UPS man ) I finished 6 hip packs this weekend with NO CURSING. My wife was amazed - there used to be a constant stream of muttered swearing when I got to applying the binding, but no more.
