Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

you could probably just put it on your bike somewhere or rig it up to a wheel.

problem is, with that in your ear, youre gonna get punted by a car in no time! and i mean PUNTED. like a football kicker.

Haha. Yeah. Then you'll be able to download clips of Johan Bruyneel or Bjarne Riis screaming from the iTunes store. When your pace drops below the level you set your iPod interrupts your music to play them.

Just put it on your shoes. The Nike speed/distance monitoring system uses an accelerometer, so it measures actual speed; it doesn't just count strides like a pedometer does. They are actually fairly accurate.

Actually, a combo mp3 player/cyclocomputer would be really cool. Somehow, I don't see that coming considering that it's not really a good idea to ride with headphones on. Especially if you're riding brakeless on suicide hubs while drafting behind a cop car through a bad neighborhood.
