Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, that's fine, even a small treatment of Chicago stays in the system for several years.

Sometimes I get the sense that 1 out of every 4 threads here would be more appropriately communicated via email or text messaging (mobile to mobile or PC to PC [or iBook to MacBook Pro]).

I suppose that's what makes community, but it requires one to wade through cliques and spam to find it.

So far I've spent 3 nights in Chicago, one of them in Cook County.

How long will that stay in my system?

Last time I was in chicago I got beat to hell with a metal basebal bat and have a 1" spot of scar and no hair on the back of my head... That will stick with me forever!
