Changing a tire without tools

I remember seeing a video a while ago of a guy shoing how to remove and replace a tire without tire levers. Does anyone have a link to the video. I've tried google video and youtube with no luck. I've got replacing the tire without tools, but I can never seem to get the tire off the rim without some help.

Put it on the ground, standing up. place one hand on the top of the wheel, the other on the tire. push/pull down on the tire. or just carry levers (the soma ones with the metal insert).

Ive managed to get folding tires off my wheel easily without any tools. One would kinda roll it up the side by pulling it off the rim with a twisting kinda motion. Additionally im no super star body builder so its not just strength, just technique. Also, i have been unable to change a flat on a standard non folding tire without some kinda tool for the tire, so im guessing it's alot easier if you have a folding tire.

You have to start opposite the valve stem and squeeze the beads together, rims are deeper in the middle and that will let the tire move further letting you use your palm to roll the bead up. I usually just lift it off the rim at that point. I dont even own tire levers and havent for a while. Mtb and wider tires are easier, getting 20 and some times 23 off can be difficult the first few times.

yeah - definitely depends on the tires. conti grand prix, gatorskins, michelin pro race roll off easily using just my thumbs.

rubinos, zaffiros, open corsas, armadillos can sometimes be hell to remove, even with metal tire irons.

I've been struggling with a set of 25mm conti ultra sports. I can get close, but just can't quite get the bead off the rim. I can get the tire on with no problem. Thats why i wanted to find the video. I'm more of a visual learner.

On a side note i watched the wrench at a LBS mount a 23mm rubino with no tools in under a minute. Impressive.

This is pretty moot. Some rim/tire combinations will be easy to get off, and some won't. You're looking for techniques that don't exist. A plastic tire lever works wonders.

Except there is a video out there that shows somebody changing a flat without tools. Special effects magic I guess.

i have a folding on the front and a wire bead on the rear of my iro. the rubino pro slick is a cinch to take off without levers. the armadillo not so much.
