650c wheel build

i called someone in the business to build a wheel for me, this guy hasn't the rim- has to buy it from another business,then i order the 650 tires, that vendor has to inturn order those from still another business. WTF? must be a shortage og 650c stuff.

650C parts are hard to come by, but it's just because most places don't stock them. The distributors usually have stuff in stock.

What rim are you using? The Sun ME14 comes in 650C, and it's a great rim.

What percentage of bikes is 650c? Are you really suprised that people don't stock much 650c stuff?

Check with a shop that specializes in triathlon stuff, they will almost certainly have a selection of 650c stuff.
