Paint Scheme- Opinion
I am getting ready to paint a late 70's/ early 80's raleigh marathon frame. It is currently dark green and I wanted to paint it orange in the back, white in the middle, and leave the front green. My question is does this make it look to much like the Mexican flag (I don't want it to look like I support illegal immigration so some redneck slashes my tires). Also I would like to hear anyone else's opinion on what kind of colors might go good with leaving the front dark green. Thanks all!

Yeah, Mexico is green - white - red. Go for the orange. Mr. Kelly would be proud!

I wonder if any first wave fixie riders (let's say 1900) painted their bike in this manner and got their Olde Tyme Solid Rubber Tyres slashed by anti-Irish-immigration rednecks.

there's a guy in my neighborhood rocking the green/white/red color scheme, but with the eagle from the mexican flag suspended in the front triangle with zipties. it's totally amazing.

the Mexican flag has the EXACT same colors as the italian flag, so I don't see why that should be a problem.
I'm hoping this thread was actually intended as a joke, although it not funny at all.
