I'm going to Chicago 8/4-11
On August 4th through the 11th, I'm going to be in Chicago helping my girlfriend get moved in for graduate school this fall. Unfortunately, I'm going to be attending Ohio University, but that's irrelevent here (let's just say that I better get used to driving/flying on the weekends).
But I'm bringing my fixed with me, and I want to do some serious riding and hangin'-out.
Where do all the cool kids hang out? Any sweet shows? Yadda, yadda.

Go to the Wiener' Circle if you want to see priviliged white frat boys venting their racist anger at working-class black women. Tons of fun. And the food ****ing sucks.

Special thanks to a certain Chicagoan driver who pulled a sudden left turn in front of me while I was out on a training ride, which resulted in me crashing into the side of her car and flying over the trunk. I appreciate the broken wrist, hurt back and road rash, among other injuries.
My busted LeMond thanks you as well. My Zurich lived a good life, but it sacrificed itself so that I may be spared from more serious damage.
A legitimate thank you goes to the guy who called 911 and made sure the driver stopped. Awesome. I'm also thankful that the driver was insured - but I now get to navigate the morass of insurance claims and settlements. Luckily I work/worked for a lawyer and he's going to take over all negotiations with the insurance company, pro bono. Doubly awesome.
Other than that, Chicago is pretty hot. If any of ya'll wanna sign my cast, feel free. My dude from Cincinnati, Lil' Jon Perz, is staying with me at my girlfriend's place and if you know him, call him.
