Finally finished!

I finally finished putting together my fixie!

Being the first time I'd ever really done my own work on my bike, it was quite an adventure.. (who knew brake cable housing was so friggen hard to cut.. or how hard the cranks would be to get off when I realized I didn't tighten the BB enough).

I got the langster frame used, bought one of IRO's fixie build kits (#2), and the rest were various things from performance and nashbar (seat, brake, bar tape, tires/tubes).

Should make the job easier next time. I actually just use a decent set of diagonal cutters for the housing and open the crushed end with a nail.

The bike looks good though.

also - after you cut the housing stick somethin' in there (like a pen, spaghetti noodle, i find cappellini(sp?) a little thin and brittle) to open up the inner sleeve. take a file to the end to clean it up.
