Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

06' Fuji Track overhaul

I recently purchased a 2006 fuji track and I happen to have a 2005 specialized langster and I was wondering if any of the components on the langster were worth moving over to the fuji!!!!

Yes I do, but what's the point of your overhaul? Just ride your bike then build up the second, it seems to make more sense to me unless you REALLY like the paintjob on the Fuji that much more.

BTW my Fuji is fine; the frame anyways. I've placed an order for another Deep V. At some point I'm going to have to try to bend my fork back a bit too..

yes!

uglier and aluminum -> less desirable -> less likely to be stolen -> BETTER!

or is that not what you meant?

think he was referencing the langster... now that i finished reading the thread the above seems pointless but anyway

anyone have any serious input? langster seems to have some sweet **** on it, and let's be honest... most of the stock components on the fuji track are worthless
