Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

So much on! The bicycle film festival is going to be great, but is anyone else catching part of the ToB this Sunday? I think about 10 guys from my club are racing in the elite series in the morning, so I'll be around somewhere.

And if anyone is going to the film festival... how about drinks before a film? Or after if it's likely to put you to sleep

So sadly they decided to reschedule the Go Race Omnium @ Herne Hill. Wasn't raining but it was cold and windy and the track really didn't feel like drying out.

Its now going to be Sat 23rd September.

buro9 - not too sure if I can make any of the film festival. Drinks are always a good plan though.
