Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

How are sunswift deep v aero rims?

i may be able to get them for under $200 and want to know are they just as good as velocity's deep v rim? Should i say yay or nay to the bid?
i plan on using them only for the streets and want to know are they equipped to handle me. They are clinchers with 32 14 gauge spokes laced to formula track hubs. So what's the verdict here?

That wheelset isn't a bad deal. I laced a pair of 'em and had some issues with the eyelets (I know they're not eyelets, but I forget what to call them. Like the CXP 33's have) popping out and rattling in the rim. Construction wise, they're not the greatest. But I'm sure they're fairly sturdy.
