Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

? About Armadillos

I thought I read here a few months back that if you take your old Armadillos back to the shop they offer some kind of discount or refund.

Does anyone know about this? The discount is offered by Specialized and not the bike shop.

That'd be a wild guarantee! I've got a few collecting dust in a corner so I looked about & found this

Free tubes, but while I've flatted with an Armadillo on I'm too lazy to collect my tube, and it's a boring story, riding, punctured, flat, flat fixed, riding some more. It was a oe in a million puncture i guess, came across a nail that had been bent into a really effective caltrop, but not on purpose
