36 Hole CXP-30s?

So, I'm building my dream wheelset, and I've got a beautiful pair of one of a kind custom machined hubs for my birthday. They are lovely, and I want to match them to CXP-30's, which I know are quite hard to find. The question is; is it even feasible that I'll come across a pair, or should I settle for something else? If it's extremely unlikely, what are a good pair of comprable aero rims with around a 30 mm V section, and are NOT velocity deep-v's. I figure if i'm putting a pair of hubs that are the only pair in existence on a wheelset, I'm not going to throw them on rims that half the track bikes one sees these days are sporting.

Thanks in advance!!!
-Lee

cxp 30's are going to be expensive if you can come across them. have you considered using the current cxp 33's? sun's swifts are good looking aero rims. i have sun venus's on a wheelset, which are also aero. i like them a lot and they're welded, machined, and eyeleted.

I love my CXP 33s. Very nice rims in black, and they're much easier to get in 36H and in general than the 30s.

i got a CXP30 off ebay pretty cheap the other month, it was part of a wheel, but it's not hard to dismantle. That would be the eaiest way to get a pair, i imagine.

I have a like new set of CXP-30 rims 32 hole laced to a set of Campy NR hubs. They are awaiting a conversion to a single speed. It is a lot cheaper to buy the rims already laced to wheels. They seem to be much higher seperate. Good luck.

make sure you don't lose the inserts if you find a set.
