Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'm in town till the beginning of november and was wondering if there are any bike related events going on. I brought my taped up fuji track "beeter" with me from san francisco. i'm working durring the days, but just mobbing around the city after work and on weekends...

For some reason I think I missed the Chunkathalon this year, but if it hasn't happened this year, that is a must see.

Ok, googled, that was in Sept.

Umm, other than, I hear critical mass for Halloween is usually pretty good. I don't think there are any other major bicycle events.
