Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Like, totally tubular...totally.

They're the Jam

"This shoe pre-dates the design of the clipless pedal system! Designed to use a slotted cleat plate that works with the pedal/toe strap combination for increased pedaling efficiency when compared to standard platform pedal systems. The synthetic leather and mesh upper is extremely breathable for increased comfort. Two Velcro® straps in combination with a cover flap secure the shoe to your foot for a great fit. The rigid nylon outsole boosts pedaling power. Sizes: 39, 46
Item No. » YS-PRB"

Speaking of, it really looks like those things have look style bolt acceptance... maybe their copy writing isn't all it's cracked up to be?

That's silly, those are just as unwalkable as road shoes.

If you want walkable, and cycling specific, check these nike shoes I found:

They have a regular rubber sole. I've got two pairs, 8.5 and 12.5, neither of which fit me. Should I throw them on ebay?

no. they're regular shoes with a stiff sole and those little traction bumps to grip the pedal.

why the hell would you ride clips and straps and have shoes with a cleat, unless you race track?
