Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

As far as I know you just have to force it. I got a Cinelli and shimmed it. Both solutions aren't really elegant.

I have a set of Profile bars that are 25.4 (1") that I found while rummaging through the back room of a LBS. I don't have a model #. They are similar to Syntace bars that come on tri bikes. They are 44cm, or 42 maybe, wide.

Sorry to be so vague. I know that this isn't the board to sell stuff, but I'm not married to them. Wink wink.

I checked the bars and they are 42cm x 26.0mm. Sorry to get your hopes up.
